Very fond memories of Blaydon - of Mr Sedgewick reading Chaucer to us in his interpretation of 'Olde English', of baffling Maths lessons with Mr McGregor, of swotting for A levels in the dusty, sunny silence of the lecture theatre with my mate Pam.

I have lived and worked in Africa,Middle East and the UK in Social Services and for NHS Trust in Scotland.Married with two children and two grand children.Returned full time to the North East this year.Would love to hear from anyone who was in the sixth form at the same time.

I am currently President of a large tyre manufacturer based in Shanghai. I have had a full and varied life since leaving school and have travelled and worked all over the world.We had some great footballers in our year...Sugsa, Darby,Johnty Hall, Dave Reay to name a few. I often wonder what happened to them.
