Glyn Hewitson | Since leaving Blaydon in 1998, I have been working at Procter & Gamble in Longbenton. I initially joined as a Student, working a 4 day week, whilst going to college to study towards an HNC in Chemistry (yes, Chemistry). After successfully completing my time as a Student, I was offered a full time position. I have worked on a number of projects from formulating Ariel and Fairy detergents, to writing legal support documents for advertising campaigns. It has also got me out and about, interviewing consumers throughout Europe to gauge consumer acceptance on new products. I am affectionately known as 'The Housewifes favourite'. I am still undecided if being associated with Dale Winton is a good thing or a bad thing. I have been married since July 2003 to Rachel and in January 2007 we are expecting our first child....which is nice. We both live in Greenside in an old house I bought last year and have 'done up'. I was impelled to write this after seeing my old English teacher, Mr. Hollingsworth do very well on Eggheads last night. I am always happy to see CJ be beaten. Quite how he is an Egghead is anyones guess. It'd be good to hear how the old friends and teachers are doing. |
