I have moved around just a little since leaving Blaydon in 1959. I have lived in the USA since 1988. I am in my third "career". After a degree in Chemistry, I have moved from research to sales and now into accountancy !! I would love to hear from anyone in my class or anyone with memories of the 52-59 period.

Robert Debell

Living with my wife of 43 years in Yorkshire. Happy to talk to anyone who was at the school at the same time as me. I should be retiring soon, but I have a business to run and I do not think I am the retiring type in any event. I have worked in several countries, acted as diretcor of major multi-national businesses and I developed my very poor school french to fluency in several languages.

I moved to Massachusetts in 1968 shortly after Gerry and I were married. Love the area, despite the humid summers. My time at BGS was enjoyable, and my favourite teacher was Miss McTaggart - does anyone remember her?? I manage to visit the north east most years, and this year I will be attending the class reunion.
