The OBA is now looking towards the future of the association, with 2008 being the tenth anniversary of the closure of the school.
We would really value your views on the future of the association and would welcome volunteers who might wish to join the committee of the association.
Browse one of the most popular parts of the OBA Website, containing hundreds of images of school forms, school activities, images of the school grounds and buildings and activities of the Old Blaydonian Association since the school closed. Latest images include pictures from School Reunions.
We are always seeking new images for this section of the website, so please dig out your old school photos and use our uploader to add them to our collection.

The Old Blaydonian Association has been established since 1987 and exists to keep alive the memory of the school. It continues to award prizes for excellence at Hookergate and Ryton Schools, which now serve Blaydon School's former catchment area.
Membership of the OBA is low priced and helps to sustain both social events, the annual newsletter, reunions and this website.
